Hey Dave! Ran across this site while looking at Jeff Crouse via craigslist. Sounds like you two are staying busy and enjoying your music. Laurie and I moved back south of Raleigh in April o9. I still fill in with lots of dance music bands and am with the Fabulous Hot Dog Daddyos as my main band.(hotdogdaddyos.com) We have a few songs that get a good amount of play on the beach and blues stations along the east coast. Laurie and I recently finished a gospel cd of all originals and like you do on some of your work I did all the tracks other than her vocals. Hope we can get together and catch up some time.

Dave,
Carolyn and I really enjoyed your and Lola's music at the Iregardless. Great web site! I'm going to check with my organist Linda DuRant to see if she knows Lola. If we see Al Orringer this fall I'll tell him we saw you. My daughter's wedding where you subbed for me was 7/11/92 at Haywood Hall. I sat in on "Johnny Be Good" and you played guitar. BTW, your playing sax when you use the bass and guitar players is great because it gives one more dimension to your group!

Love every instrument note and every vocal note. Ask Steve about his setting the band up in our basement in the 70's. I loved going to sleep hearing his music. Sandy Boletchek his stepmother.

I saw Lola perform live at the Pierre Hotel in New York! She is fabulous! I play The CD constantly in my car, and love her rendition of "Moondance." She is the brightest star in the Raleigh sky!

wonderful, talented 'classical' jazz by Dave and his band and Lola Youngman treats all those great favorites with a sultry warmth and a surprisingly fresh
approach.

wow-your website looks great---and the pictures of you all are great. Can you add a live video clip of you playing and singing a song? (Ask Jonathan to help you). I'm really impressed with your website-----AND it's fun to be able to hear you sing, LOLA--you really sing well. Dave, you are sooo talented too. Come see us in Naples, Fla. Lola, look up our Monte Carlo pictures on my tennis website. Paul earned a trip there Sept 21st for 5 nights. He's has the most kitchen sales with Cornerstone Kitchens since last Nov. You would LOVE it there. It's beautiful. www.charlottestennis.com
WE'll be up to Raleigh on Thanksgiving weekend. Love, Charlotte. p.s. I want to buy your cd Lola.

The CD that I purchased this summer is in play in my car very often. Not only do I love it my mom REALLY likes it. She knows the words to all the songs. She also remembers Lola from our college days and think she looks better than ever. I play the CD for many of my friends and relatives and they are all very impressed. Many of us think it would be way cool to walk into a jazz club and listen to you guys.

I have two of Dave and Lola's CDs. My parents have borrowed one. They too listen to it frequently. I doubt that they will return it.
On a recent flight that was delayed due to weather, I asked the stewardess if we could play one of Dave and Lola's CDs over the plane's intercom. She took the CD, played it and it was received with great applauds.
Keep on entertaining!
